PayPal only show Check out and not show on Cart Page

Does anyone know how to remove the PayPal button options from the Cart page but NOT the Checkout page? I would like the Cart page to only show the ‘Proceed to checkout’ button so that all customers must proceed to the Checkout page before choosing their payment option. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey @lizbonney,

Regretfully, there’s no feature in our themes for this. This would either need a third-party plugin or custom code. Try posting in our Peer to Peer Forum to see if there’s a user who had experience with this.

Hey in case anyone else has this issue I worked it out… there is a check box in the PayPal settings in woo commerce that’s lets you turn off PayPal on cart page. One click and its gone : )

Thank you for the intention of sharing, but would you mind being specific on the settings that you’re referring? I’ve looked for it on the WooCommerce > Settings on every tab and then on Payments > Paypal, the only option I saw is the Enable PayPal Standard which will deactivate the PayPal payment completely including on Checkout page.

Now that I think of it, the Payment option should not show on the Cart Page by default, you might have a plugin or Woocommerce add-ons or customization that adds the Payment option on Cart Page.
