Particles.js not loading on X Pro

Hello!

I saw there was another thread: https://theme.co/apex/forums/topic/particles-js/ but it didn’t work…

Can you help me? Maybe let me know what is wrong with what I’ve done!

Thank you in advance!

Hi There,

There’s a JS error on your site. On custom JS, there is a backslash that is causing error. See this: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbjnjxlBZw
For the particle.js make sure to add the correct URL of the file: https://stsolutions.design/wp-content/themes/pro-child/particles.js

Hey Lely,

Where do I go to remove the backslash? Can’t seem to find it

Thanks in advance!

If you can’t see a backslash in your Global JS, chances are, they are added automatically due to your database setup escaping special characters. That is a WordPress setup issue. Please contact a third party developer to fix.

Thanks.

It’s not that I can’t see it (where it would be), it’s that I don’t know where I have to check to find it.

My apologies for not being clear!

Thanks

Hi there,

It’s probably under customizer’s custom javascript or at Pro > Launch > Theme Options > JS (the JS icon from the left vertical toolbar).

Though I can’t confirm it since the account you provided has no capability to access such features. Please grant admin access and we’ll continue checking.

Thanks!

I granted admin access to the user!

Thanks

Please remove the slash in Global JS. You can access it through the path previously posted by my colleague.

Thanks.
