Paragraph and line break issue by WPBakery Page Builder

Hi Guys,

I have an issue with WPBakery Page Builder (Text-Element).

When I write a text with a break or a paragraph WPBakery, doesn´t save it…

I am on X 5.2.5 and on WPBakery Page Builder 5.4.5.

I also see the changenote:
24.11.2017 - ver 5.4.5

  • Fix: Firefox tinymce and vc_link issue
  • Fix: WooCommerce vendor categories list
    16.11.2017 - ver 5.4.4
    - Fix: TinyMCE Saves linebreaks
    15.11.2017 - ver 5.4.3
  • Added: Shortcode support in raw_html
  • Added: More filters for vc_btn shortcode
  • Update: Shortcode automapper admin content escaping
  • Fix: Improve WordPress 4.9 tinyMCE support
  • Compatibility: with WordPress 4.9
  • Compatibility: with WP Tool Set plugin

But the issue isn´t fixed for me. Any idea what I can do?

Hi there,

The version 5.4.5 is already available in the automatic updates, so please kindly make sure that you have the latest version. Also, you need to make sure that you clear the cache plugins if you have and disable them after purging the cache for testing.

Then kindly add a test page and try to test the line break. If you still have problems kindly get back to us with the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thank you.

Hi,

I tested it again but nothing happens the issue is still there.

Please see on:

I have created an test-environment so you can see it by our own.

Hi There,

Upon checking, I see that you haven’t updated your plugin.

You need to update your plugin and make sure to purge server cache if you’re using a caching plugin and also make sure to clear your browser cache before testing.

Thanks!

issue is fixed, I must toggle one time between the x-theme and the child-theme, now all works fine.

Thank you guys, ticket can be closed please.

You’re welcome. It must have been just the cache that caused the issue.
