Painfuly slow cornerstone live editor / cornerstone crashes / Not able to save changes

Hi Support!

I’ve recently updated WordPress and X Theme to their latest versions.
Everything looks great! However, when editing content, I’m experiencing extremely slow cornerstone live editor preview times (or none at all). Cornerstone has often crashed as a result and I am unable to save any new edits (if I’m able to complete them).

I’ve cleared the cache and that doesn’t seem to have made a difference…

Please try out following solutions and see if it solves the Cornerstone performance:

  1. I see that you are running Jetpack plugin. Please try to disable the Jetpack and see how it goes.
  2. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.
  3. Please make sure that you are running at least PHP version 7. To learn more about server requirement, please take a look at following page. https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
