Page shows no preview

Hello. I hope you are well.

I am using the ‘Agency’ extended demo that runs through Ethos stack. It has a page called ‘Case Studies’ that I would like to add my own case studies to. I can’t seem to do so. It tells me when in cornerstone that the is ‘no suitable preview area found’ and that this might be due to an overlapping third party plug in.

I have disabled all third party plugins (except Cornerstone) and it still says the same.
I have updated to the latest versions, and it still says the same.

Could you please let me know how I might be able to do things with this page?

Thank you in advance, as ever.

Alex.

Hello Alex,

Thanks for asking.

Please try out following solutions and let us know how it goes.

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. Go to X > Settings and click on the Clear Style Cache button.
  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
  4. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
  5. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
  6. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.

If you still have problems kindly get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thank you.

Hi. I feel I may have gotten myself into a muddle with not understanding the difference between the portfolio and the posts sections.

I’m not sure how to find the htaccess file as mentioned above.

In addition, I would like to reinstate the case studies page from the template ‘Agency’ and get that working so that a few case studies can be seen on the home page and all of them on the case studies page.

I thank yo use very much for your help. Its a learning curve!

Hi. I believe I have solved some of these issues. Thank you for your time! Alex,
