Hey @colink,

We need to confirm that you have checked our Builder Preview Warnings article first: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-builder-preview-warnings/14404

Please review and confirm that your setup is correct according to the article. Also please confirm that you have done the recommended troubleshooting steps and post the errors generated in your error log in a Secure Note.

After confirming and the issue persists, please give us WordPress Admin and FTP access in a Secure Note.

Thanks.

Yes, I can confirm I have done the recommended troubleshooting steps per your Builder Preview Warnings article. As referenced in your article the Error Message we’re getting is the most generic of all the error messages which are making it very hard for me to troubleshoot. I have gone through the process of deactivating plugins and even deactivating them all, and the page will still not load in Cornerstone. Posting generated errors in a Secure Note.

Hi @colink,

Thanks for updating the thread!

Can you please check this two points.

  1. Please make sure that you are using at least PHP version 7 as it’s minimum requirement to run WordPress. https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/

  2. Please make sure that the memory is increased to 512mb. https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-increasing-php-memory-limit/16935

If you still have problems kindly get back to us with the result of the steps above we will be more than happy to help!
Thank you.

@basanta,

YES, still have problems!

I’ve been through these basic trouble shooting steps before and I know this has been a reported issue with Cornerstone. As you can see (images below) I have the latest version of PHP and the memory is set at 512MB with no affect on the issue with Cornerstone.

/** Increasing the PHP memory limit **/
define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’);

Hello There,

Please make sure that you have meet the requirements to run the latest WordPress so that the theme and plugin features will work properly. I did some further investigation. WordPress 4.9 requires at least 7.2 (https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/). This could possibly be the cause of the issue. In most cases you cannot update your PHP version yourself and need to contact your host about this. The upgrade process is an easy process and should be something your host can do for you without affecting your website or charging you for it. Here’s a letter you can send to your hosting company:

Dear host,

I'm interested in running the open-source WordPress <https://wordpress.org/> web software and
I was wondering if my account supported the following:

- PHP version 7.2 or greater
- MySQL version 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB version 10.0 or greater
- Nginx or Apache with mod_rewrite module
- HTTPS support

Looking forward to your reply.

I have checked your Downloads page and it seems that it has been edited outside of Cornerstone last Nov 29 which may have corrupted the cornerstone data.

Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.
