Page hero image

Hi team,

I am adding a hero image at the top of one of my pages (http://staging.2cameras1bucketlist.com/subscribe/) and I have a couple of questions:

  1. To do so, I added a dedicated full-width section with a single row and a classic image element to hold the image. Would that be the best way to do it?

  2. Using this technique, I still see a little gap at the top of the page, just before the hero image (see below). Can it be removed in CSS?

Thanks a lot!

David

Hi There!,

Thanks for writing in!

I found a top padding 10px in the image column. I removed it and its working fine now.

Thanks

Now, this is embarrassing, I missed this setting… Thanks a lot for pointing it out!

Regarding the best way to achieve the hero image effect in a page, do you guys think this is the best way to go about it, or would you suggest something else?

Hi There!

You have followed the right way for the hero section. Also you can achieve same through Revolution slider plugin.
Create a single slide slider and assign to that page.

Hope this is clear to you.
