Hi guys, my X Theme is continually telling me that I have outdated WooCommerce files, despited updates. It says I need to send you this info:

Hi Louise,

X theme is using updated Woocommerce templates. See it here. Make sure that you are using latest version of theme and plugins. From the source code of your site, I can see you have installed the theme incorrectly. You have uploaded x package zip file when in fact you should extract that file and inside you can find x.zip. That is the theme file we have to install. Using FTP, go to this folder on your installation: wp-content/themes. Remove x package folder. Then reinstall the latest X theme. You can download the latest X theme zip file from your dashboard.

I thought uploading the .zip file was standard practice? Does this mean I will have to reset all of my theme settings? In other words, redo my entire blog settings? Or, will it ‘remember’ my settings?

You may export your customizer setting just to be sure.

You can also use this third party plugin to create a full backup of your site.

Hi. I don’t see in your link where it specifically says you have updated cart-empty.php.
I do have the current version of Pro, 1.1.1, and it has Louise’s same error

pro/woocommerce/cart/cart-empty.php version 2.0.0 is out of date.

The new core version is 3.1.0

I think I can fix it myself, but aren’t you going to soon anyway? If so, when? And also this might fix the problem the theme had when it tossed out 2 messages saying “your cart is currently empty” and I had to hide one of them.

Hi there,

I checked the Pro version 1.1.1 with Woocommerce 3.1.2 and there is no such an error as Outdated template files.

Kindly open up a new thread and give us the URL/User/Pass of your Wordpress installation using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case for you.

You can not do that here as the original poster will see the Secure Note details. You need to be the original poster of the thread to be able to use this functionality.
