One license - without a multisat setup

“Pro Theme Not Validating on all SubDomain Multisites” - Such a topic already exists, but a question has arisen!
Can I use 1 license for subdomains with different databases and different admin panels without installing a multisite?
Example: the main domain is mysite.com, one admin panel WP and on the blog.mysite.com subdomain, as well as a separate admin panel.

Hi @shumuher,

Actually, one license can be used for 2 domains(1 production and 1 staging):

  • Under production, you can add: mysite.com
  • Under staging, you can add: blog.mysite.com

Hope it helps

Hello

  1. What does the “staging” input field mean? Is it for the site mirror? When is used for example 2 domains and one site?
  2. And if I need 3 or 4 subdomains?

And one more question!
Could you give advice on how to better organize the work of a web studio?
For example, we first make websites for clients on our hosting. With a separate database. And only then we transfer to the new domain and host. Sometimes we use multisite.
At the moment, we first buy the Pro license, then we make a website for the client.
But it happens that the client is not ready to pay a large prepayment.

Hi Shumuher,

1.Staging could be a subdomain, or a completely different site URL. It has been provided to create a copy of your live site, so that all the development and testing can be done without affecting your live site.

2.For each sub-domain, you will require an additional license to validate your site apart from staging and production.

3.For your multi-site, you can setup sub-folders inside your root domain and then you can use the root domain license to validate your sub-folder sites.

For example:
Example.com (root domain)
Example.com/Site1 (sub-folder)
Example.com/NewSite (sub-folder)

We also have a migration guide available here on our knowledge base section (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/cornerstone-content-builder-migration/126).

Hope that helps.
