Not being able to install new version of X

Please advise in how to install a new version of X when my site is already built on an old version.

Wordpress keeps giving me an error code that there is already a destination folder. I don’t know what to do to get this in there, and it needs to be updated because the old outdated version is breaking my site. Thanks.

Hi there,

Instead of resintalling X, please try updating it instead from the dashboard.

You may also try doing it manually through FTP.

It doesn’t allow me to update. ;/ Currently running version 1.0.9…super outdated.

Thanks for updating the thread.

Please login using FTP software like Filezilla and under /wp-content/plugins/ directory, please delete Cornerstone folder. After that please download latest version of Cornerstone using the link shared in secure note. Upon downloading, kindly extract the zip file and then upload the extracted folder (Cornerstone) under /wp-content/plugins/.
