Not able to set Static Slide with Rev Slider

Hello,

I want to set a static slide but when I do and click save and refresh, it doesn’t save.
What’s the issue here?

Here is the site: http://cab.piexec.biz/

Hi Nico,

There might be some Javascript error that is causing the issue. Please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Hope this helps.

Hello Jade,

The issue still persists will all plugins deactivated.
Any other suggestions?

Hey Nico,

To assist you better with this issue, would you mind providing us the url of your site with login credentials so we can take a closer look at your slider settings? This is to ensure that we can provide you with a tailored answer to your situation.

To do this, you can create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/how-to-get-support/288

Thank you.

Hello RueNel,

Absolutely. I’ve attached it in a Secure Note!

Hello Nico,

Do you mean static layer or you want to have static slide that will only go to the next slide once you click next?
You can go to the General Settings and activate the Stop Slider After then at Slide #.

If this is not the case, can you please send us the screenshot of that settings that you are trying to save?

Thank you in advance.

Hey RueNel,

Not sure if I understand you correctly although let me try to explain.
Please see the attached photo here beforehand:

I have 4 slides in that image as you can see. I want the “Static Slide” (the dropdown.) to be always showing “#1 Slide” although when I chose “Slide (ID: 1)” and click the green save button in the top right, it does not save. I refresh and it’s back to “none” or showing nothing.

Basically, the “#1 Slide” has text which always needs to show even if the background images are changes i.e. the other slides are “sliding”. Same like this actually: https://www.crownandbull.com/

Hi Nico,

Thank you for the clarification, that dropdown on the Static / Global Layers is only for reference it does not mean that whichever slide you choose it will automatically that slide layers become the Static Layers, no.

What you should have done, is created the headline (CROWN & BULL) and button (discover our menus) directly inside the Static / Global Layers and not on its own slide.

Hope that shed some lights,
Cheers!

Hey!

Well, now it ALL makes sense.
Sorry for my idiocy and thank you for your explanation!

You’re welcome, glad we could help.

Cheers!
