No more modiy on Cornerstone page built

Hi there,
I’ve updated cornerstone and X theme and now, despite I’ve built it in Cornerstone as you can see in the image attached, no page seems modifiable with that builder. Any suggestion?
I left my user Id and pwd in a secure note
Thanks in advance

Hello @Facchini,

Thanks.

Hi
it’s obvious I’ve to do as you wrote. But my problem is:

  • I’ve created all the site with Cornerstone
  • no one has modified it
  • I wanna change some parts of the page and it’t impossible.

As I show in the image I’m attaching, I’ve done all right and i can see my page is built with cornerstone but when i try to modify using cornerstone the page goes in loop. Any idea?

Hi There,

It seems like the content of your page has been corrupted this might have been caused by a 3rd party plugin.

Once the page content is corrupted it is quite hard to recover. Is this happening all over the site or on a specific page?

Have you migrated this site or anything like that?

Do you have a backup of this site so you can install and import the page template?

You provided the username and password but I cannot see the page link. please provide the URL of your website and reply the questions above in order that we can help.

Thanks!

Hi
This is happening all over the site, on every page. No migration has done and not a backup for this site has done. The URL is: http://www.microel.biz

Thanks in advance

Hi There,

Thanks for sending the details!

I can confirm the issue on your site and also the X menu is not launching.
Can you please fix the Cornerstone issue first by following this steps.

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.
  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.
  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.
  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.
  6. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
  7. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php
    define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
    define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );

If the cornerstone issue issue fixed then the page editing issue may be fix. Please let us know if that works.

Thanks
