NO EVENTS FOUND - Modern Events Calendar

Hello there

After adding 7 events to the list with featured images and their dates, the shortcode i generated displays “no event found”.
it also says that on the event archive listing page. I wonder where the problem might be from
even when it showed up once (which disappear again)
Please i need these events to show up
carousel type 1 view shortcode for the home page
and
list view for the event page
im working on localhost so i cant really provided url to login

Hello David,

Thanks for asking.

As events are not showing up, please try out following:

  1. Please make sure that you are using latest version of X Theme 6.3.5 and Cornerstone 3.3.5.
  2. Please make sure that you are using the supported version of MEC. As of today the supported version is 3.2.0.
  3. For some more solutions, please take a look at following threads.

Thanks.

I have updated everything and it’s still not working.
Same “No event found!” message

Hi @itsmisterdavid,

Thank you.

hi @RueNel, I’m not sure if you read my first message but I’m working on localhost and not live.
Please what else can be done?

Hi There @itsmisterdavid

In that case, I suggest you to follow the guidelines below and see if you can isolate the issue further.

  1. Disable your other 3rd party plugins except Cornerstone and Modern Events Calendar plugin and see whether you’re experiencing a plugin conflict. If the issue is resolved, then you can activate your plugins one by one to see which plugin causing the issue.
  2. If you’re using a child theme, try switching to your patent X theme and test your issue to see if you’re encountering any conflicts with your child theme customizations.
  3. Check your PHP version and PHP memory limit. We recommend PHP v5.6.x or later to avoid incompatibility issues. Also you can refer to our guide on how to increase memory limit (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-increasing-php-memory-limit/16935).
  4. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks, select the option postname and click on Save Changes button to regenerate your htaccess file.
  5. Enable your WordPress Debug mode and see if you’re getting any PHP errors. You can follow this guide on how to enable WP_DEBUG mode (https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG). Then once you revisit your page, you will see if any errors.

Hope that helps.
