Need to validate license on website, but validated in my apex account

i just had some work done to my website and now it is asking for the license to be validated. this was already be done and checked off the list.

but now the back end of my wordpress website says i need to validate. so i head to my apex account and check the ‘manage licenses’ and see that the correct license code is attached to my apex profile.

what is going on here?

**and now i see that the front end of my website is no longer using the x theme… :frowning:

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Our validation process may not function correctly if you’re using an older version of X theme or Cornerstone plugin. Also if your files are corrupted. Make sure that you’re using the latest versions by following this KB article (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195).

Also follow our troubleshooting guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-validation-connection-issues/201).

Thanks!

hello
i looked through a webpage on w3c validator and found that there are some errors from the x class. so its x theme related right? I have attached a screenshot of the errors i mean.

this page: http://cannadems.org/map/new-hampshire/

is there a way i could go through and fix these errors automatically? i am up to date with the theme on the website.

there is no error loading this page but our web guy told us: I apologize for this but this 500 Error is related to the website and it’s design. You are going to have to check your codes and headers as the 500 error is not Hostgator’s 500 Error but one related to your ending of headers. We did check the .htaccess and other parts of the server. The cannadems.org/wp-admin will load for your to optimize.

is this a x theme [fixable] error?

Hi there,

Unfortunately, the question is so confusing and as we do not have any context we don’t know exactly what is going on. You will need to give us each question in a separate thread that we can focus on each issue, also it is indeed counter-intuitive to answer the question here as t is not related to the original post. Kindly open up a separate thread for each part of the questions (Validation and the error 500) and we will be more than glad to try to help.

Also please add the Login information to each thread.

Now to answer the questions briefly and having the follow up for the separate threads, you will need to enable the WordPress debug mode to see the actual error instead of 500 and give us the error message so that we can follow up. Here is how to enable the debug mode:

https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress

I checked the validator and it seems that there are shortcodes in the page that are not rendering, is the Cornerstone plugin activated while you were checking the code?

Please add a spearate thread to follow up.

Thank you.

ok i created a new thread for this “cornerstone error” question.

to answer your question, yes it was activated on the website when i did this page check.
we are moving the website to its own server instead of a shared one, fyi.

for the original cornerstone activated question - everything seems to be working for the x theme and the website now. sans the other issue in another thread.

thanks!

Thank you for your understanding. We will check your other thread and respond as soon as possible.

Thanks!
