Need help with Theme X and share page on facebook

Hi,

I need some technical advise/direction. I copied pages in Wordpress and after that I changed text and images. Also of course I changed the SEO info (snippet) (Yoast) and the featured image.
I had the plugin: Facebook Open Graph, Google+ and Twitter Card Tags on But because of problems with SEO Yoast I deactivated this plugin.

PROBLEM:
Sharing the page on Facebook via Social Element shows me the featured image and text of the original page (the one I copied)
But all info on the new page is new.
I checked the Facebook crawler and refreshed but it still is giving ‘the old’ info.

And there it gets complicated. fetched URL is ok. But og:type and og:title are wrong and I don’t know what to do.

Can you help me a little?

Thank you so much. More info will be send secret.

Hi There,

Thank you for the credentials. Can you give us more information? Which page/post you’re having an issue? What is the previous and current value? We need those information to compare the information when shared and what’s on the source code.

Hi, Thank you for asking.
If you go to the social element underneath this page (https://qi-biza.com/katja-willems/) en you click share to facebook it shows info of the page of Annika.
If you visit https://qi-biza.com/erik-jan-stam/ you will see that the sharing button opens the picture of JO (This page is a copy of Jo’s)
If you go to https://qi-biza.com/agathe-utard/ and you will add the social media element yourself you will see this also will share the info of Annika.

These two pages are copied of Annika but I changed all meta info at the Yoast part soI don’t know what to do anymore.

I hope this is clear an that you can solve it because I want to use the Social Share to promote the different therapists on Facebook

Thank you in advance!

Hi there,

Thank you for the information. The strange thing is that the generated code is actually showing the Open Graph of Annika instead of the one it should. I guess this might be a cache problem, I cleared cache with no result, I suggest that you contact your hosting service provider and ask them to clear any deep cache that they might have on their side.

Also, I wonder if the duplicator plugin is at fault. Instead of using that plugin, make use of the Template functionality of the Cornerstone to copy a page:

While in the layout mode clicks on the template button and save it as a page. Then add a new WordPress page, go to the Cornerstone on that page and load the previously added template:

For more information kindly read the Working With Templates section of the article below:

And finally I suggest that you turn off the Cornerstone and change the theme to soemthing else, for example the default theme of the WoirdPress and test the case.

Hope it helps.
