My website wont load on apple devices 4g

Hi

I’ve never come across this issue but my x-theme is unable to load on apple devices using 4g - fine on wifi. Can only be content/template issue as nothing changed with hosting etc and was working fine.

I’m told there is no timeout / status code think it just hangs.

Hey Paul,

Your site loads on my end using iPhone connected in 4G.

This is unlikely a theme issue as our theme does not have a connection related function. Would you mind switching to the default WordPress theme though and see if you can access your site. If you still can’t access your site, please contact your web host as it’s most probably an issue on their end.

If switching to the default WordPress theme resolves the issue, this could be a result of optimization and/or customization. In this case, please try the following and check if the issue persists after each step.

1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins.

3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

5. Switch to the parent theme.
