Modern Events Calendar Images not copying over

I’m redoing my website from the start, as over time, I’ve bloated the database and site with activating/deactivating plugins, and doing other things.

I’m having a problem when trying to copy over the events from the original site to the new site.

The events are copying over, but not many of the images are working correctly, with the majority of them being added to the media library with weird names.

For example:

Morganians-RFC.jpg

Becomes

Morganians-RFC.jpgfit24002C1200038ssl1

I’m using the plugin to export/import as XML (exort) & MEC XML Feed (import).

I cannot give you access to the site, as it isn’t online.

In your new site, did you install JetPack plugin? Please disable the Site Accelerator module.

I haven’t added Jetpack to the site yet

Just to be sure, I deactivated every plugin except the events plugin, but still have the same problem
