Modal Search on Vertical Navbar?

Hi,

Is it possible to have the modal search button available on a vertical left navbar? It doesn’t show up when I enable it in Theme Options.

Thanks for asking. :slight_smile:

Please make sure to activate the search icon under X > Theme Options > Header > Search > Navbar Search. Having said that if search icon is not showing up, please try out following solution:

  1. Upon making the changes, please make sure to clear site and browser cache.
  2. Please make sure that you are using latest version of X Theme and Cornerstone which as of today is version 6.3.8 and 3.3.8 respectively.
  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  4. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
