I was able to successfully upload a video background on my homepage via Cornerstone, and I know that video background works on desktops and not mobile.
However, I’m not sure how to add a image background for mobile, because right now the section appears blank when on Chrome and Safari. How do I get a stand-in image for mobile when video background doesn’t work? Thanks

Video-backgrounds do not work on mobile device because mobile data is still fairly expensive in many places.
To add a poster image, you can click on the grey square with a + sign below the video url box:
