Migration problem

Hi, when we migrate our site from staging to production using Wordpress export/import, it duplicates header menus, or the elements components on top. Any advice to fix the migration?

One more question, when we export from staging and import to production using WordPress, it doesn’t carry the images to social media. Can you please advise?

Hey Sandeep,

The WordPress export/import is not enough websites using advanced themes and plugins. Please follow the correct migration procedures mentioned in our Migration article here: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/cornerstone-content-builder-migration/126/1

Would you mind clarifying after the first issue is resolved?

Thanks.

When migrating the blogpost from staging to production, the blogs work fine on the website. However, the images are cross-linked to different blog posts when sharing on social media.

Hi Sandeep,

Please redo your migration process using the provided method here

Like Christian said the native WordPress export/import post is not enough.

And please remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after migration. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

You might also need to do the sharing debugger on Facebook and other social media to fetch your new site open graph data.

Let us know how it goes,
Cheers!
