Migrate Cornerstone and X theme to a different server

Hi staff,

I am facing some strange issues with my current server.
I am thinking about migrating the whole website to a different server, but I am not sure if doing so would cause any license issue?
Or, is there a better way to do it?

Hello There,

License is connected to your domain and we can change it in which domain here: https://theme.co/apex/licenses. Transferring to a different server but using the same domain won’t cause you any license issue. Even if you use another domain, you can transfer your licence so no problem with that. I’ve got another problem while migrating our website.
I’ve got two questions:

  1. For staging, can I link the license to an IP address instead of domain name?
  2. For staging, is there a way to link my license to a server without public IP address?

  • Yes you can link the license to an IP address.

  • No, unfortunately, there should be a way to communicate between the Themeco servers and the destination which the installation is there. I suggest that you contact your hosting service provider and ask them to make sure that Themeco server has access to the given IP in the licenses page. For more information:
