Meta and excerpt on the recent post short code

Hello,

I have set my home page to be www.firemillionaire.com/blog, and as you can see, since i’m using the short code to generate the recent post, it is missing the meta for author, categories, date, and as well as the excerpt.

Is there anyway to add this in somehow? I have seen it done on other X theme websites.
