Mega Menu Settings | Distributing Columns Without Nesting & Smaller Screen Placement

Two things for this beta site - http://urban.moseke.com/

First - I used some fake hierarchy in my mega menu structure (Historical Phoenix Homes and Condos + Lofts) to distribute links to columns, but the theory doesn’t translate for mobile. I would like these links to display in columns, but I don’t want or need labels for each column or a tri-level hierarchy. Can this be done?

Second - The navbar wraps below 1430px because we have so many topics. When it wraps, it places the mega menu over the the navbar, but regular drop-down menus (Neighborhoods and Guides) display properly. What can I do to correct this?

Thank you!

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! The menu will always follow the hierarchy. That is how Mega menu will work. When you view the menu on mobile, the levels also collapse. I can see that you added a dummy “Fake” menu item. This will not be hidden in mobile or smaller screen. I would just suggest that instead of using MegaMenu, please use UberMenu and use the column features for more better content control. You can easily install UberMenu by going to X > Overview > Extensions. To know more about this plugin, please check it here: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-ubermenu/75/1

Hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes.

This did not appear to solve my problem. If you look at the Historical Homes dropdown, it just creates a horizontal row of links in no discernible columns.

Hello There,

To properly set up the layout of your menu and submenu items, please check out this documentation for a very detailed information: http://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3/layouts

Hope this helps.

Thank you for directing me to this documentation. It helped solve the problem I was encountering.

You’re always welcome!

Cheers.
