The Modern Events Calendar Plugin is not working on my site. I get the message - There is a new version of Modern Events Calendar available. View version 3.5.0 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. - When I click on View version 3.5.0 details I get a Plugin Not Found.
My understanding is that MEC Pro is included with X-Theme. Please indicate how I may get the latest version on my site without having to pay for and download it from the webnus site.

Yes, Modern Event Calendar is a part of the bundled plugins offering that comes with X Theme. As of now the supported version of MEC is 3.4.6.
We will be the one who will provide the updates since the plugin is bundled in the theme. At the moment, we will still need to test this new version for compatibility issues and conflicts with the theme. Once we are done and make sure that every things works well, we will push the latest version of the plugin to the Theme.co plugin repository. The compatibility article will then be updated as well.

Ok, so what do you recommend I do in the meantime? Right now it is not working at all on my website, and it just happens to be a VERY integral part of my site.
Ths plugins has been installed and setup a long time ago and was working fine. After upgrading to WP 5.1.1, the plugin now shows “No events found”, even though we have many upcoming events. No setting was changed and it was working fine before. We found in the plugin forum that this has to do with the version of the plugin needing to be updated (as you state). Please advice ASAP. This is breaking our site.

Could you please try regenerating your permalink settings by head over to Settings -> Permalinks area, then select the option postname and save the changes.

Sorry for the confusion here. This is not a bug but an event configuration mistake.
Under Categories, there’s 2 English entries. Looks like you selected the wrong one the same thing with the Organizer. I checked both.
Your event is now showing up.
Regarding the update notification, please ignore it for now. We will release the latest version in due time and you’ll be able to update MEC in your WordPress dashboard.

Hi, I am still having a problem with this. None of my other upcoming events are showing, just the one that you fixed. I don’t quite understand what you mean by there are two english entries, and organizer. There is just one entry for each event and one organizer. Please help!

Please correctly configure your English Calendar like what I previously did.
If you want everything to show up select all the Categories under the filter.
Select all Organizers.
You can also opt to enable all Authors.
