Is there a way to add the date (and maybe author) to the blog list when using the Masonry option?

Except Ethos, the date is included in all stacks. The author is only available in Integrity and Renew (see https://youtu.be/6Q-WCywGwdc).
It would require custom development to add additional markup as each stack was specifically designed.
To create your own masonry blog design, it would be best to either use The Grid or the Essential Grid.
