Manual X Theme update is missing Stylesheet

I used the instructions here:

to manually update the X Theme, because my site is a multisite and it doesn’t auto-update.

I get an error message when I visit the sites that says “Stylesheet is missing”:

I checked and our PHP version is 5.6.30

All of our websites show this error. Please help.

I got it to work. Had to activate the theme on all of the sites.
