Making a website without white borders around it

I’m probably missing something obvious here, but I’m trying to make a website that does not have any borders around its content.

I previously made such a website using Ethos stack and to start out I installed one of the demos which set that up automatically for me. Now, I’m trying to design another website (my third with X-theme) with that same feature and I can’t figure out how to make it happen.

In the theme options I find a toggle that turns on and off “fullwidth” for the website, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. I don’t have any padding or anything else, as far as I can tell, in my page design.

What am I missing?

For reference, this is a link to the website which I previously designed which I want my new website to look like:

Hello @NLV,

Thanks for writing in! Normally, when you create a page, the default page template will give you a layout that is not fullwidth. If you want to create a page that is truly a full wide page like in your example, please edit your page and change the page template to “Blank - Container| Header, Footer” page template. To know more about this page template or the other page templates in the theme that you can use, please check out this knowledge base article: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/features-page-templates/50/1

We would loved to know if this has work for you. Thank you.

It did work. Thank you!

I now realize that I found the solution previously on the forum, but I just didn’t understand how it worked. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

You’re welcome!
We’re glad we were able to help you out.
