Hi this is on the landing page of my website. I’ve limited the thumbnail to a maximum of 3, but I was wondering if I can make it scroll left-right so that readers can browse through other post thumbnails on the landing page itself.
I don’t want to increase the number of thumbnails to more than 3, rather to add a scrolling function. Is this possible?

However this cannot be implemented with cornerstone as shown in this support post here https://theme.co/apex/forums/topic/cornerstone-how-to-create-recent-post-sliders/ This post also gives you an alternative using rev slider.

The Carousel functionality is not available in the Recent Posts Element. You will have a chance to have that option using the Essential Gris plugin:
The video above shows how to add such a functionality in the Essential Grid which then you can add in the Cornerstone.
