Major problem with updating theme

I have Version: 5.1.1 and I’m trying to update to version 6.0.2. When I update it, my blog which is on my home page and the revolution slider disappear. I can’t afford to have my site down so I restored my site back to the old version. How do I fix this?

As website has been rolled back, it’s difficult for us to troubleshoot the problem. Can you please setup a staging server and upload the website up there and try updating X? If you face the same problem, please let us know along with website credentials in a secure note for us to take a closer look.
