Mailchimp plugin stops Cornerstone from starting

Hi,

Ive recently added the MailChimp plugin for a newsletter form and unfortunately now Cornerstone doesnt load. Is this a known problem?

Thanks for writing in! There’s no known issue currently. First of all, make sure that you’re using the latest version of WordPress (https://wordpress.org/download/), X theme and other plugins (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195). Then you can follow our update guide here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62).

If you’re using a caching plugin, try purging your server cache, disable your caching plugin temporarily and test your issue again.

If you have a child theme, try switching to your parent X theme and test your issue further.

Ive switched off all caching plugins. Ive got a child theme a developer set up but Im not sure how to switch back.

Hi again,

To switch to parent theme, first go to Appearance > Themes (see screenshot)

You’ll see the list of installed themes on the right hand panel, Find the parent theme and click on Activate button (see screenshot)

In case if you’re using Pro then you’ll see something like this:
