Lost visual composer and slider revolution with the update

My posts are no longer editable with cornerstone as they used to.
Can I go back to previous version? I’ve also lost slider revolution.

Hello Garcia,

Thanks for asking.

I checked your website and it seems that Revolution Slider is either uninstalled or is in deactivated state. For Revolution Slider, under Plugins > Installed Plugins please make sure that it’s installed and is active. If you don’t see Revolution Slider then please install from X > Validation > Extensions.

Regarding Cornerstone, if you don’t see Edit with Cornerstone button then please activate the same from X > Settings > Permissions > General and click on Posts.

To learn more about permission manager, please take a look at following article:

In case Edit With Cornerstone button is there and there’s some issues with the Cornerstone builder then please try out following solutions:

  1. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  2. Remove custom CSS and Javascript from the options or Child Theme and test the case.
  3. Reset your htaccess file by renaming it to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
  4. Increase the PHP Memory Limit of your server. Click here for more detailed information and how to increase the PHP memory limit.

If you would like to rollback then you have the option of installing the Stable version of X Theme and Cornerstone from members area.

Thanks.
