Line up Social icons in Footer

Hi,

I’m using the Pro Footer builder, and want to have a line with several social icons. Right now they are stacking on top of each other. Can I make them sit side-by-side?

Here’s a screenshot of how it looks now.

So I thought maybe I could just add an inline navigation and use icons for the menu items. I found this other thread on how to use icons as the navigation label, but it’s not working: https://theme.co/apex/forums/topic/how-to-create-menu-icons/

Hi There,

That is for X, not Pro. But we can use the same ideology. To do this, navigate to Appearance > Menus then create a new menu named it social links menu (https://prnt.sc/g6owy6)

Build this menu, add custom link to each of your social page (https://prnt.sc/g6oxp9)

Collapse the custom links you just added and you should able to see Icon Primary option (https://prnt.sc/g6oyyx). Select the corresponding icon for your social media link, then save.

Then navigate to your footer builder, and add a navigation inline element, and assign the social links menu that you just created (https://prnt.sc/g6ozzs).

Then inspect this navigation inline, under top links > design panel look for the TEXT SETUP and turn it off, next to it is the GRAPHIC SETUP turn it on (https://prnt.sc/g6p1qr).

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Thank you!! That’s exactly what I needed. Works perfectly.

We’re delighted to assist you with this.

Cheers!

Thanks! I followed your instructions, and chose my icons, but for some reason I am only able to see the link descriptions. I do not see any Icons. What am I doing wrong?

Here is the placement:

Any thoughts?

Here is my menu setup.

Hi Ralph,

Make sure you enable the Graphic Setup, and choose the (flag) icon on the Type.

You can turn off the Text Setup if you only want to show the icons.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Thanks for your response. I have implemented the inline-menu. The icons are very far apart though. I would like for them to be much closer together. Please advise. Thank you

Hello Salim,

This quite an old ticket. To avoid any confusion, it’s my humble request to you to create a new ticket and share the relevant details. Posting on a ticket created by a different customer create lot of confusion which slows down the response time. Please create a new ticket and one of Themeco support staff will take a look and assist you accordingly.

Thanks for understanding.
