License X Not Validated - When changed from staging site to now live?

I need urgent assistance please.

I built my site (www.beeventful.uk) on gridhost staging. This was validated in my account dashboard fine. Now I have sent the site live and changed the url to the new live domain but it is saying in WP that it needs fixing/ validating again.

Please advice how I fix this issue. It is only one site not two and I only need this one site to hold a valid license and do updates.

Thanks for writing in!

I have checked your site and I can confirm that you cannot validate. Normally, after inserting the license code, hitting the “Enter” should start the validation process. In your site, there is no event action taken after pressing the Enter key. It could that there were corrupted files or something. You can re-install the theme manually or do the updates manually instead. Please check out the “Manual Updates” section in this knowledge base article to know how to do the manual updates:

Thank you for responding.

I have provided you with the FTP account details. Could I ask you to perform the update for me.

Will I ever see the ‘validation’ fixed on my dashboard in WP? It’s a worry to the client.

I also handed over the project to them and need them to do these types of installs automatically as they aren’t technical at all.

Thanks for updating the thread. :slight_smile:

I logged into the website and then I removed the current X Theme and Cornerstone from Themes area. After that I downloaded latest X Theme and Cornerstone version and installed the same. After that using the purchase key from your license manager, I have now validated X Theme. Please take a look at our end and let us know your feedback.
