Launch Options

Hi, I am trying to go to go to : admin > X > Launch > Options but getting a console error regarding cornerstone plugin.

I have set a user and pass with administrative permissions for you to check it out. Could you please give us a hand ?

Hey there,

Please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks but doing all the steps I could not solve. Can you help me with this? Thank you very much

The error in request to

{“success”:false,“data”:{“invalid_user”:true,“message”:“nonce verification failed.”}}

Thanks!

Hi,

Try to contact your host.

This is most likely due to a server setting where mod_security is blocking the url http://staging.elclemente.edu.uy/cornerstone-endpoint

You may request to them to whitelist that url.

Thanks

Hi,

Already disable mod_security but I do not solve the problem either. Can you help me? Since I can not edit the site.

Hello There,

I have logged in and investigated further. Every time you visit theme options, there is an error: http://elclemente.edu.uy/cornerstone-endpoint 500 (Internal Server Error)

Error 500 could be a fatal error. I noticed that you are using PHP version 5.4.45 and WordPress 4.7 requires at least 7.0 (https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/). This could possibly be the cause of the issue. In most cases you cannot update your PHP version yourself and need to contact your host about this. The upgrade process is an easy process and should be something your host can do for you without affecting your website or charging you for it. Here’s a letter you can send to your hosting company:

Dear host,

I\'m interested in running the open-source WordPress <https://wordpress.org/> web software and
I was wondering if my account supported the following:

- PHP 7 or greater
- MySQL 5.6 or greater
- The mod_rewrite Apache module
- HTTPS support

Looking forward to your reply.

Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.

Thanks a lot for your time with PHP 7 it works great.

Glad to hear that.

Cheers!
