Issue with Cornerstones look?

I have built many sites with Xtheme and Cornerstone… This is the first time that I have had a site with Cornerstone looking like this. (see attached screenshot). How can I get back to my normal view of Cornerstone? The client installed Wordpress, Xtheme Pro themselves and I am wondering if they made a mistake, if its a PHP issue or if this is how Pro looks…

Thanks for writing around! I checked your screenshot and it looks normal (see screenshot of the Pro Builder)

Are you referring to the delete button being highlighted red? Please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. Clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugins and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Thank you for the reply. Is there a way to get the non pro builder back? The client dislikes this builder and wants the one he has in his other sites I built for him.

Will I need to uninstall pro and install regular xtheme?

Hi there,

Please note that there was an update for X 5 and Cornerstone 2.0 where the builder interface was changed and looks different than the older version of Cornerstone like this:

If want to use the version that looks like the screenshot above, you will have to install X 4.6 and Cornerstone 1.3 which are the older releases.

Though the new version of X and Cornerstone have a lot of new features which you might want to check out.

Ok now this makes sense. So this is the “new” look for the updated xtheme and cornerstone?
