Our website started giving this error when trying to edit the home page “Uh oh! An unidentifiable error is preventing the live preview from loading. Switching to Skeleton Mode”

Issue only seems to happen on our home page.

running:
Wordpress 5.1.1
XTheme 6.5.4
Cornerstone 2.0.3

I have already tried;

  • disabling all plugins except cornerstone - issue persists
  • updating all plugins and themes - issue persists
  • clearing website cache + clearing browser cache - issue persists
  • tried editing in private browser/incognito mode- issue persists

Along with the ticket, I also checked the website (URL in secure note) and can see that on one of the websites you are using the latest version of X Theme and old version of Cornerstone. You are using an incompatible version of Cornerstone which might be causing the issue. Please update Cornerstone from 2.0.3 to 3.5.3. You can take a look at the following resource to update:
