Is my website slow?

Hi guys, I’ve learnt so much from reading this forum so thank you very much.

I have very little experience is building websites but im semi pleased with my site I built. I plan on hiring a professional to iron out the bugs however I’m trying to learn a lot myself first as I’ve dealt with some bad developers over the years and feel like if I don’t do it myself it will never be done right…

Anyway my first question is my site slow? Ive done several tests on GTmetrix and the speed test sites and it appears im scoring well. However it seems to be loading very slow on my end. Sometimes 10 seconds or more.

Would someone mind checking for me? I’m based in Sydney and would only be Sydney users visiting my site

Your website is really very very slow. I have visited your website from Chrome browser with 10mb/s speed. It seems your site took almost 30 second from my location. Generally, now a days, any website do not take more than 10 sec to load in max. Expert says any business website should load in less than 3 sec.

Website loading speeds depends on many factors. Ex:

  • Server Speed: What is your server respond time. Server capability. And also Server Location…
  • Website Speed: A bad website setup will definitely slow down your website.
  • Graphics: Heavy HD graphics also will decrees your speed.
    etc & etc…

I think you get the point!
