Inserting Link in Cornerstone seems to be buggy

Hi,
when I try to insert a link in Cornerstone in a text element, and I click on Edit Link / Link Options, to activate the option “open in new tab”, then it is not possible to close the little dialogue window.
I have to reload the browser window, loosing my edits.
I tried it many times on mac/safari, its reproducible.
It seems to be a bug.

I couldn’t replicate this issue on my local installation:

Please follow up the steps below:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list here. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. Click here for more information.
  2. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
  3. Switch to the parent theme to check if the issue persists.

Thank you for the very fast response!
Everything is up to date.
I deactivated all Plugins except Cornerstone.
The issue remains in Mac/Safari.
It did not appear on Mac/Firefox with or without activated plugins.
So it seems to be a Safari issue!

Hi @salilou,

I’ve checked on the Safari as well but still can’t replicate the issue:

I’m using:

  • Safari Version 12.1 (14607.1.40.1.4)
  • MacOS Mojave Version 10.14.4 (18E226)
