Importing custom post templates into x pro

Hi,

I am in the process of combing 2 different sites into one. The one site I built in x. The other has custom templates. I have imported all the data from the non x site, but when I try to use the custom templates from the other site it breaks. How can I rebuild these templates in x pro?

Here is what the current site page looks like:

Here is what it looks like after importing, this is without the custom template.

How can I get the sidebar to act and behave like the sidebar in the first custom template?
