Import the integrity-1 demo

Dear Experts,
I think I imported the integrity-1 demo, but it doesn’t look like the one you see here, I don’t see the video at the beginning of the page for example. I’m I doing anything wrong?
Thank you
The testing site is this: www.psicologo.help

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Our standard demos comes with only the homepage including dummy content, placeholders for images and other media files. If you want to try a full demo, install one of expanded demos.

Also make sure to install and activate Revolution Slider plugin before generating demo content.

Hope that’s clear.

Thanks for replying,
I noticed that there are some dummy contets, but in the specific case I don’t see the dummy content of the video and the writings that apper on the video (as you see here http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/). The rest of the website is similar to the demo, but I m missing video and writings.
Usually I import the demo structure and then I personalize it by changing texts, images and videos, but in this case, I can’t do it with the initial video.thanks

That part is powered by Slider Revolution and it must be setup separately. See the Slider Setup section at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-demo-content/56 for more details.

Thanks.

Thanks,
I set up the slider revolution but I don’t know how to create the same effect I see on the integrity-1 demo.
Do you have any idea on how to do that?
thanks
m

Hi There,

The slider revolution on Integrity 1 was built based on fantasy posts slider which is available for free here

https://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/

You can download and import the template to your slider revolution to understand how it works.

You need to change the background for a video and replace the 4 images with your own images.

After your slider is set, navigate to your home page, click edit page, once you are on Wordpress classic backend editor scroll down until you find slider above masthead and select the slider you have created.

Hope it helps!

<thank you,
I tried to find the fantasy posts slider but i couldn’t, can you show me exactly where it is?
Many thanks
marco

Also, as you can see here http://www.psicologo.help/, even if i imported the integrity1 demo, it totally lacks the video at the beginning. The full screen video i see here is laking.

Many thanks
m

Hi Marco,

Go back to Free Slider Exchange and sort it by Full-Screen, you should able to see the Fantasy Posters slider and download it.

Then on your dashboard navigate to Slider Revolution panel import the Fantasy Posters slider you’ve just downloaded. Then edit the slide of the slider as you want it to, the important setting to change there is the main background, you need to change that to Transparent so the video can be see through from the slide.

Then edit the page that you want the slider in, in this case your homepage. See the Slider Settings: Above Masthead section, select the fantasy posters slider from the dropdown, then put the URL of your video background on the Optional Background Video field, then save.

You can upload your video on your Media library and get the video URL. The video URL should end with .mp4 or .webm extension.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Hi There,

You need a direct URL to your video file and Youtube does not provide you that, that means Youtube video does not work.

You can upload your video on your Media library and get the video URL. The video URL should end with .mp4 or .webm extension.

Try this sample video here

Thanks,

many thanks,
now it works but only on my desktop. on my cellphone (iphone 7) it doesn’t work. Maybe you know why?
thanks

Hi There,

You need to add a poster image, background videos do not work on mobile and touch devices in general due mobile data cost.

On revolution slider where you added the video url you also can add the poster image.

Hope it helps
