Import templates on different website

Hi,

I’m thinking about buying a second X license for another website, but before I do that I wanted to know if I can use templates of my current website and use them on the other one? I saw that I could download templates and import them, I just want to make sure before I buy it.

Oh and is it also possible to import templates from X to PRO?

Hi Dennis,

Thank you for writing in, yes you can import your Cornerstone page template file (.csl) to other site using X as long as they have the same version of X/Cornerstone. And you can also import it to PRO with the equivalent version.

Just a heads up as this might give you a confusion on the future. We have a new Template Manager feature coming (you can read the discussion here), this is a much powerful template manager than what is currently now. When the time this is release please read the Changelog to know more about this new template manager.
