Images (Logos) don't show up on site (header builder/under construction)

Hey there!

I’m currently setting up a new website for a client but I ran into an issue. I built a header with the header builder in pro and I added two images above the navigation. Neither of them show up in the preview although the header has been globally assigned. Could you check it out please and tell me what I’m missing?

Hi @umbertofederico,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I tried to login with the given credentials but the username / password is incorrect. Please double check the credentials if they are correct. In the mean time please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  4. Remove custom CSS, JavaScript and deactivate your child theme and switch to parent theme (take a complete backup first).

If the issue persists then please take a look at the following thread as well https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/images-are-not-showing/65025/2

Let us know how this goes!

It’s a brand new install of theme - so I do have the latest version. I checked in two browsers - still nothing. I deactivated the caching plugin. Nothing. In the header builder everything is fine and the images show up…just not on the real thing.

It was the Smush Image Plugin as mentioned in the other thread - the Lazy Load function to be precise. I had the footer deactivated and the function was called in the footer. So I changed it to header and now everything works. Thanks for pointing that out!
