Hey does “Image Primary” work in pro? What do I put there, Image url get’s overwritten with default icon from “Icon Primary”. Or is it possible to add new icons in the dropdown?

Yes you can set the image URL in the Image Primary field of the menu items.
And in order for the images to get displayed instead of the icon, please go to Navigation Inline > Top Links > Graphic > Graphic Setup > Enable : ON > Type : Image.
