IE Problem with x-theme

Hello,

I’ve started to notice a problem with my theme in IE browsers.

The version of IE that I was using is IE 11.112.17134.0

You can see the error using this theme:

If you load it in IE and then wheel mouse scroll down, you can then see the following error message:
Line: 1
Error: Object doesn’t support property or method ‘find’

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi Aaron,

Thank you for writing in, I have the same version of IE11 as you and I don’t get that error.



Probably a configuration or IE settings issue. Try to reset your IE settings (see Internet Options > Advanced > Reset)

I did the IE reset and also did a reboot.

I checked the URL again - http://demo.theme.co/renew-1/

While I am not seeing the popup error message at this time when I wheel mouse scroll down the page. I do see the same error in the developer tools:

Those errors are happening as I scroll down the page with the mouse wheel.

Do you see them on your end?

Hey @aaron_softwarepromot,

Another support member here. I don’t get the pop up also but I do get the error in the console. See https://youtu.be/rkBEWAK1Nfo. It looks like you enabled a setting that is not enabled out of the box. Not sure what that setting is though as I personally don’t use IE. I’ll post this to our issue tracker so our development team would be made aware.

I also don’t use IE. I only check it every now and then for browser compatibility.

I do get it that sometimes there are Javascript errors on a page but it was strange that these were popping up a message box each time I would scroll the page.

Right now, I’m seeing the same thing you saw. The error in the developer console when I would scroll down the page.

I have checked it also in my setup and same as both of yours and christian, I could not be able to replicate the pop up.
