Hi.
I am trying to insert an icon by using for example [x_icon type=“info-circle”] - but this results in a square-symbol and not the icon that I am trying to insert. Why?
Thanks.

Hi There @Onlime
Thanks for writing in! There was a recent update for font awesome which you can see here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/some-icons-missing-after-update-to-x-6-2-5/43095/2?u=mldarshana).
[x_icon type="info-circle"]
should work still, but make sure that you’re fully updated including X theme and Cornerstone. You can check the latest version numbers from here (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195). Then update your theme and plugins accordingly (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62).
If you have already updated recently, make sure to purge your server cache and also clear your browser cache before testing.
Thanks!
Hi,
I got it working by clearing both my WPengine cache and the PVM Purge. Thanks
Glad you’ve sorted it out
