I can't get multiple sidebars to work

I am trying to use multiple sidebars and its not working. The main sidebar pops up whenever I tell the page I need a sidebar. I thought that the nex Xtheme allowed you to pick a different sidebar for each WorrdPress page. What am I doing wrong.

#1 I create a new sidebar and assign it to the WordPress page
#2 I put the widgets in the new sidebar that I want
#3 I tell that WordPress page to have either a left or right sidebar

Does not seem complicated, but the only sidebar that keeps popping up is the main one! Help. I am pulling my hair out on this one.

Hi Scott,

Please note that templates with sidebar will not work if you have set Content Layout as Full width in Theme Options > Layout and Design.

You need to select a layout with sidebar.

Thanks

Thanks for the response. I have it setup this way and it is still not working. Only the main sidebar shows up.

I really need to use different sidebars as we want to show different widgets based on the page being viewed. Different sidebars for shopping, blog, courses. Here is the sidebar I setup to work on that page.

Thanks again for your help. I hope I can get to the bottom of this soon.

Hello @scotthoward,

After you make the sidebar in Appearance > Sidebars and assigned it to which pages it will display, you will then insert the widgets for the newly created sidebar in Appearance > Widgets.

For more details about the unlimited sidebars in X theme, please check this out: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/features-unlimited-sidebars/95

We would loved to know if this has work for you. Thank you.
