I can no longer save anything

I cannot save. I was using an earlier version of PRO when this behavior emerged in the past week. Earlier than that Pro would say it could not save, but it DID save. Then last week the error message came up and it did NOT save. So I updated PRO to 2.3.6 this morning. I tested this on both a staging site and the prodution site. Neither works; I cannot save any changes. The PHP on both sites is 5.6 . I can update that up to 7.2 if necessary.

This is my only PRO site. All of my others are X-theme. In PRO there appears to be no Cornerstone plug-in to update. I presume it is integrated into the PRO theme. Is that so?

Let me know what I can do to reclaim the ability to edit the site. My client is tapping her foot, waiting for changes. :–)

Please check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/troubleshooting-version-compatibility/195. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62 for more details.

  2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins.

  3. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  4. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  5. Remove custom CSS, Javascript and templates.

  6. Contact your host to increase your allocated memory or do it yourself by adding this code in your wp-config.php

Your option #6 worked perfectly!

I tried 1 and 4 first. I do not know what CDN is. I cleared the Godaddy cache, the only cache I know I have. I did nothing about #5, because my css is sprinkled around Cornerstone. But #6 worked easily.
