How to insert MailChimp Subscriber Pop-Up Form

Hi,

I am using MailChimp with my website for mailouts. I have added the MailChimp embedded form in the footer. But I would also like to add the MailChimp subscriber pop up. I’ve configured MailChimp and copied the code. I am wondering where to insert the code in Theme X?

Thanks,
Steve

Hey Steve,

Where should the code go according to Mailchimp’s documentation or instruction?

If you want a email form popup functionality, you might want to consider using ConvertPlug plugin which is bundled in X and Pro. See https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/extension-convertplug/66

Thanks.

Hello,

Thank you for the advice. I have installed ConvertPlug and set up a Modal Popup through that, linked to my MailChimp account. That part of it seems to be working.

However, it is not allowing my to change the modal popup settings.

For Example:

I initially had the modal popup live. I then changed it to paused but the modal popup but still keeps popping up.

I initially had the modal set in smart launch to open “After a Few Seconds”. I change it to open “Before User Leaves” but it is still opening when initially entering the site.

I initially had repeat control switch off. I changed it to enable cookies and not show after conversion. But even after filling in the modal popup, it still keeps reappearing.

I now can’t see to deactivate the Modal popup.

Can you please help?

Steve

Hi Steve,

This sound like a caching issue. I did some investigation and it turns out that you are using SiteGround. Could you please clear your site cache or temporarily disable the supercacher in your hosting panel? The SuperCacher is developed by SiteGround exclusively for their customers. It increases the number of hits a site can handle and boosts the website loading speed. The SuperCacher includes 4 different caching options for maximum optimization of your websites. You can access the tool by clicking on the SuperCacher icon in your cPanel.
