How to go from old version of X to newer

I have an old site that I am updating at the clients request, finally. The version of X on the old version is 3.2.2. What do i need to do to update to 6.x.x? Anything other than just updating the theme itself? i notice there is no plugins called Cornerstone, just X-Shortcodes and X-Whitelable.

Version 3.2.2 is way old. I would recommend that you create a staging site. This is very useful because you can test drive the latest X updates in the staging area, do the customizations and troubleshooting without disrupting your live site. Once everything is perfect, you can easily and flawlessly proceed the update in the live site. To know how to create a staging area, please check out these articles:


Please take note that X Shortcodes plugins and its functionality has been consolidated into Cornerstone which you can install by going to X > Extensions which will be installed automatically.
