How to create custom sidebars

Hello,

I am trying to use WPmudev sidebar plugin, but my sidebar is empty. It is not workink with X.

Can you help me? Or suggest another custom sidebar plugin?

For sidebar you can use Sidebar feature that comes with X Theme and can be accessed from Appearance > Sidebar. For more information please take a look at following tutorial:

I am using the Unlimited Sidebars as suggested but they are not respecting the taxonomies.

I chose a taxonomy in the sidebar configuration, but the sidebar do not appear on the taxonomy category.

Then I chose both “taxonomy” and “posts”, but the sidebar appeared in all posts (even those that does not have the taxonomy).

What am I doing wrong please?

Hi Ricardo,

There might be a conflict, please do testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
